If your recurring donors within iATS are not being updated you may want to check the status of the iATS Nightly Download Journal in your instance. To check the status follow these steps
- Login to Salesforce and goto Setup
- Search for "Apex Jobs"
- There will be many jobs you will need to create a view with the Apex Class contains "iATS"
- Find the IATSPayments_batchProcessJournalLog or IATS_batchProcessDirectDebit_log
- Check the Status Detail column for any jobs where there are failures.
Often validation rules or required fields can unwittingly prevent updates by the nightly job. Once you see the status failures you can update your configuration and run the iATS Batch Download to update any missing transactions
