To disable an active recurring donation automatically being processed through fundraisingManager you need to follow two steps:


i) Disable the Customer Profile within iATS

ii) Set the Recurring Donation to Closed in Salesforce



i) Disable the Customer Profile within iATS


First, we will stop the automatic billing of a donor. To disable the recurring billing within iATS, follow these steps:


Step 1: From the App Launcher search for iATS Brickwork and click on it.


* If you cannot find the iATS Brickwork app you will need your System Administrator to enable access to the app and objects for you 


Step 2: Move to iATS Aura Setup. Select Production Account.

Step 3: Click on Submit.



Step 4: From the Virtual Terminal select the Customer Database.



Step 5: Now find the recurring donor's profile and click on edit. (check the checkbox and click on pencil icon)

Step 6: Set the Recurring Payment Settings to OFF. 


The donor's profile is no disabled and will no longer be charged.


ii) Update the Recurring Donation in Salesforce


Next, we need to update Salesforce to cancel the forecasted opportunities.


Go to the Recurring Donation and update the Open-Ended status. Set the Open-Ended Status to Closed and save the record.

This donation is now cancelled. No further payments will be charged to the donor and your Salesforce CRM shows that no more payments are being forecasted.
