fundRaising Manager supports the setup and receipting of Pledges that entail the receipt of multiple installments during the course of fulfilling the entire amount of the Pledge. The structure includes a top level Opportunity which is set with a Pledge Opportunity Record Type and then related with one or multiple installment payments that are directly associated with the Pledge. 


1) Creation of the Pledge

   - Navigate to the Opportunity Tab

   - Select the 'New' button on the Compact Layout 

    - In the resulting list of Opportunity Record Types, choose Pledge

   - Enter the mandatory fields of Opporunity Name, Amount, Close Date and Stage

   -Also enter Contact or Account related to Pledge 


 


2. Create Individual Installments

   - Navigate to Pledge record

   - Select the Installment tab

   - Select New button on the top right side

   - Select Donation Record Type for new Opportunity

   - Enter details of Pledge installment into the Donation Opportunity Record Type 

       - Provide Installment Opportunity name, Amount, Close Date(Date money received), Set Stage to Closed Won, 

       - Enter Primary Contact or Account details to be on Receipt






3) Receipt Installment

   - Navigate to installment record

   - Select the Create Receipt button






4. Continue process with creating installments as additional payments are received.
