fundraisingManager enables you to create a french version of a donation form using Form Elements and Email Templates records.

A form element is an override of a label of a donation form. You can use a Form Element record to update one or many labels on a donation form. An Email Template record is a language-specific assignment of an existing Email Template to be used when the form successfully processes (for more on Email Templates see here.)

In this case you can use Form Elements and Email Templates to transform your donation form into another language and have the corresponding email acknoweldgement in french as well.

There's a new tab on the Form Configuration called "Form Elements".

Each label is listed in the Element picklist.

You select the element and then add your translated label for this form.

For a french form you should also enable Language Preferences under the Additional Donation options. The default value for Language Preferences is English.

To send your donor a french acknowledgment you'll need to create a French acknowledgement in the Email Templates first then you can assign it in this new French form.

Please note: that the email template sent to the donor is based on the type of donation and the value in the language preference field of the contact record. If the donor completes a form you've translated to French but does not select the language preference to French, they will receive the english email template.

If you do not have a translated version and would like our default french translation, please contact cloudStack Support.
