Fundraising Manager allows you manage benefits or advantages for receipting through the campaign.


A benefit can be created from a campaign record. Any donation where the campaign has a benefit will have the eligible amount updated when the receipt is created.


When the receipt is created fundraisingManager will calculate an Advantage amount if the campaign has a benefit or if an advantage amount is defined on the receipt. The advantage amount follows the CRA rules on eligibility where a benefit cannot exceed 80% of the total gift. For example if a benefit on a campaign is valued at $90, a gift of a $100 would not be eligible as the benefit is 90% of the gift. If the gift was $115 then a receipt for $25 would be created.
