In the unfortunate instance where a receipt needs to be cancelled and replaced, fundraisingManager streamlines this process while maintaining the history and your receipt numbering system. If there is an issue with the donation or donor data fix that first, then follow these steps: 


  1. Navigate to the donation and go to the Receipt related list.
  2. Select the problematic receipt
  3. Click the Create Replacement Receipt
  4. If the donor has an email on their contact record you can email the replacement, if not the receipt will be created and attached to the donation (opportunity).
  5. The original receipt will be marked as Cancelled.
