With fundraisingManager, you can indicate a donation as Anonymous. This enables your organization to respect a donor's privacy and not include an anonymous donation when reporting on giving.
In Custom Settings > Cloudstack Settings
Set the option Anonymous Donors Enabled to TRUE
The anonymous option is on the initial donationManager online and backend. When set to True the Opportunities will have the Anonymous field set to true.
Anonymous option can be further extended to the Contact and Account objects by updating the page layouts for both objects to include the anonymous field as well as a masked Contact Name and Account Name in the respective objects. These masked name fields convert the real Contact and Account names to be set to ‘Anonymous’.
To enable the masked option for the Contact and Account name, one must check the Anonymous field on each of these objects manually as desired.
This extension of the anonymous option allows customers to produce giving reports to include ALL donations and mask the Contact and/or Account names in those reports showing ‘Anonymous’ by selecting the appropriate masked name fields in the report configuration.
