cloudStack Services released fundraisingManager Version 1.4000 (Winter '19) to all active customer production and sandbox orgs on 31 October 2018.   The changes in this version include:


1. In order more seamlessly integrate with customer website styling, the top banner and bottom progress bar have been removed from both the donationManager and online donationManager.   See below for before and after images of the donationManager.   


Please validate the appearance of the donationManager on your website.

2. An issue that may prevent the proper encoding of "special" characters in the address field of the donationManager forms has been corrected. 


3. Manual Intervention is Required - A custom setting has been added to allow for the disabling of the  "UpdateUnreceiptedDonationCount" Trigger.  This addition was made to support debug efforts.  This trigger is responsible for counting the number of 'un-receipted' donations associated with a recurring gift.  Unfortunately, Custom Settings cannot be created and enabled during the package upgrade process, so this custom setting needs to be manually enabled.    Instruction for enabling this trigger are:


  • Enter Setup
  • Search for 'Custom Settings" in the quick find box. 
  • Select 'Manage' next to 'cloudStack Settings'
  • Edit the "Unreceipted Donation Trigger Enabled" setting to checked. 


For customers engaged in a current Virtual Admin Agreement with cloudStack Services, this change will be managed for you.    For other customers, please contact us if you require support to make this change. 


4. On Receipt records, the "Create Duplicate Receipt" button has been renamed to "Create Replacement Receipt" to be more inline with CRA terminology. 



5. Optimizations to the manual receipt / replacement receipt process from a donation record:


  • When the donation's primary contact is set to "Do Not Contact" or "Email Opt Out", the manual receipt creation process has been updated to allow for an option to override this contact preference.
  • When the donation's primary contact has a valid email address, there is now an option to generate the receipt without emailing the receipt. 
  • When the donation's primary contact does not have an email address, the option to generate the receipt is now available. 


6. An issue has been corrected so that a replacement receipt cannot be created from a previously cancelled receipt.
